The plantation house, about 1950, according to family records

The plantation house in 1904, according to the date written on the back of picture. According to some family members, it still looked like this in the 1930's. Pauline Martin, Robert Martin's mother, remembers visiting there with her young children and sitting on the porch while the kids played out front.

Levi Jordan

The Martin brothers: Calvin, Furniss, McWillie, and Charles
These were Levi and Sarah's grandchildren,
Annie Martin's children.

Emily Jordan McNeill

Hester Holmes, who lived on the plantation for many years, and worked on the plantation for many years after that.

Anne (Annie) Royal McNeill Martin

(By the way, we're still working on these imagesand we'd also appreciate any more pictures that members of the descendant communities might want to share, so that they can go on this web site too.)
